Urban Chic
A common problem of modern urban life is a total lack or adequate storage within the property. This garden in south Dublin was no exception. A multi-functional storage shed was needed however as the outdoor space was also limited, the shed had to form part of the overall composition. Andrew’s solution was to design as part of the garden this beautiful cedar and glass garden room. Herbs and plants could be grown within the mini glasshouse at the front while within the cedar box all the storage needs could be met. These needs included a high gloss kitchen unit for storage complete with sink and electric shower so the client could wash the dog. Bespoke furniture including a stunning “living table” with plants growing within it and a built-in bench that appears to float above the ground were all included within the overall scheme.
