"Our intention is to not only meet the brief, but to exceed it".
The brief for this garden was to come up with an alternative use for a disused tennis court on the client’s property. They liked entertaining and had wanted to try growing their own vegetables on a small scale for some time.
Andrews’s solution was, as always, to far exceed the brief and the result was this stunning contemporary take on the traditional walled garden. The garden features a large open sided garden pavilion complete with bespoke outdoor kitchen and bar, log burning stove and outdoor sofa. The design also uses rusted steel in creative ways such as forming sculptures and vegetable beds that subtlety pays tribute to the clients steel business heritage. This garden was awarded Ireland’s best Private garden by the association of landscaping contractors of Ireland.
